What is the Holistic Travel Plan (HTP)?

HTP is an online platform that connects conscious travelers with sustainable, toxin-free, and holistic accommodations, activities, retreats, and experiences around the world.

How does HTP work?

Clients can explore, compare, and book holistic and sustainable services offered by independent providers. Each listing includes information about sustainability practices, availability, pricing, and reviews.

Who can use the HTP platform?

Any person of legal age may create an account and use the platform, provided they agree to HTP’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

How may I suspend, cancel, or delete my HTP account?

You may, at any time, request the temporary suspension, permanent cancellation, or complete deletion of your account by sending a request to support@holistictravelplan.pt.

What if I need help using the platform?

You can contact support@holistictravelplan.pt or visit the Help Center for tutorials, explanations, and personalized assistance.

How do I make a booking?

Bookings are made directly through the platform by selecting your preferred service, confirming the date and time, and completing the payment as instructed.

Do I receive a confirmation after booking?

Yes. Once a booking is confirmed, you will receive an email with all relevant details, including the date, time, location, and provider contact information.

Can I book multiple services at once?

You can add several services to your Wish List and then book them individually whenever you are ready. All confirmed bookings appear in your personal trip plan, displayed by date and time, allowing you to easily visualize your itinerary.

What payment methods are accepted?

HTP accepts secure online payments through trusted processors such as Stripe or PayPal. For certain services, you may also choose to pay on arrival, in which case the provider may accept bank transfer or cash, according to their local terms.

When will the payment be charged?

For online payments, the charge occurs immediately after you confirm your booking. If you choose the pay on arrival option, payment will be made directly to the provider at the location, following the conditions shown in your booking details.

Will I receive an invoice for my booking?

Yes. You will receive a digital invoice from the service provider and, when applicable, from HTP for any platform-related fees.

Can I cancel my booking?

Yes. Cancellations are subject to the applicable HTP Cancellation Policy and the provider’s specific conditions. By confirming a booking, you are considered to have read and accepted the provider’s cancellation policy for that service.

How do I request a refund?

Refunds must be requested directly from the service provider, in accordance with their policy. If communication fails, contact support@holistictravelplan.pt for assistance.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Refunds are usually processed within 7–14 days after approval, depending on the payment method and bank.

What happens if a provider cancels my booking?

If a provider cancels your booking, you will receive a full refund, and HTP may assist in finding an alternative service when available.

Can I modify a confirmed booking?

Modifications depend on the provider’s policy and availability. You can request changes through your dashboard or by contacting support before the scheduled service date.

Do I need an account to make a booking?

Yes. Creating an account allows you to manage bookings, payments, and your personalized travel plan.

Can I edit my personal data?

Yes. You can update your name, contact details, preferences, and communication settings directly from your dashboard, as well as upload a profile photo or video.

How is my personal data protected?

All personal data is processed securely in compliance with the EU GDPR and HTP’s Privacy and Data Protection Policy.

Will my data be shared with service providers?

Only information strictly necessary to complete your booking — such as name, contact details, and preferences — is shared with the provider.

Can I communicate with the service provider before booking?

Yes. Many listings include a ‘Contact Provider’ button that allows you to ask questions before booking. All communication should remain on the HTP platform for security and traceability.

How can I access my trip plan?

You can view your trip plan from your user dashboard. All confirmed bookings are displayed chronologically by date and time, helping you organize your travel schedule.

Can I use a discount voucher or promotion code?

Yes. When available, you can apply your voucher or promo code at checkout. Discounts apply only if the code is valid and the provider participates in the campaign.

How does HTP ensure payment security?

HTP uses encrypted payment systems and licensed processors to ensure all financial transactions are safe and confidential.

How can I report a problem with a service?

You can report any issue through your dashboard or by emailing support@holistictravelplan.pt. HTP will review your case and, when necessary, mediate between you and the provider.

What if I suspect fraudulent activity?

Report any suspicious activity immediately to support@holistictravelplan.pt. HTP will investigate and take appropriate action to protect your account.

Can I leave a review after my experience?

Yes. After completing a booking, you’ll be invited to rate and review the service. Reviews help ensure transparency and support other travelers in making informed decisions.

Are services verified for sustainability?

HTP encourages all providers to follow sustainable and toxin-free practices. Each provider submits a Declaration of Responsibility confirming compliance with local regulations and sustainability standards.

What happens if I arrive late or need to change the meeting time?

You should contact the provider directly through the HTP messaging system as soon as possible. Each provider has their own flexibility policy.

Are taxes or fees included in the price?

The total price displayed includes all mandatory taxes and fees known at the time of booking. Any additional local charges (such as tourism taxes) will be shown clearly before payment.
